Thiruvananthapuram: Mollywood film director Liju Krishna was arrested in Kannur on Sunday on the rape charges. He was arrested under 376 of IPC, said police.

              His upcoming Malayalam film Padavettu expected to be released later this year. He was arrested in Kannur his native town while shooting the film Padavettu. Film features Malayalam stars like Manju Warrier and Nivin Pauly among others.
