1K drones dazzling show organized at Beating Retreat Ceremony
New Delhi: Beating Retreat Ceremony on conclusion of Republic Day celebrations a drone show was organized by a startup Botlab Dynamics on Saturday. Over 1K drones, dazzling in different colours, lit up the sky over the Lutyens’ in Delhi on Saturday during the Beating Retreat Ceremony.

The drone show was supported by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, and Department of Science & Technology. The ceremony was held in the presence of President Ramnath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During the ten minute show, with 1K drones, in different formations along with a background voice, showcased a series of extravagant sunset troop maneuvers during the ceremony. The show continued for around 10 minutes involving around 1,000 drones fabricated through indigenous technology. Synchronized background music was also played during the drone show.
Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said it was a world record created by India by flying 1K drones during the ceremony.
