Vijayawada: Vijayawada Police Commissioner Kanti Rana Tata decided to provide job opportunities to the rowdy sheeters, who gave up their rowdyism. He launched a job mela on 05^th March, 2022 for providing jobs to rowdy sheeters, to lead a new life.

Nearly 16 company’s representatives participated in the job mela in Vijayawada, after the discussions with police commissioner Kanti Rana Tata. Commissioner took this decision after interrogating the rowdy sheeters in several times relating to the cases.

He came to know that the rowdy sheeters are depending to extort to the people for money to lead their livelihood. That’s why commissioner of Vijayawada decided to provide jobs for the livelihood of the rowdy sheeters instead of rowdyism.
