Andhra Pradesh Government lifts night curfew as Covid -19 cases decreased

Vijayawada:  Andhra Pradesh Government decided to lift the night curfew as the number of Covid-19 cases in the State are declining. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy convened a review meeting on Monday on the current situation of Covid-19 in the State.

YS Jagan at the review meeting on Covid – 19 situations, he said that Covid-19 precautions must be taken at all times, especially in the public and commercial spaces by wearing masks. He directed the officials to continue and conduct tests for people suffering from fever symptoms. He also stressed the need to achieve 100% Covid – 19 vaccinations in the State.

During the review meeting, the officials said that 3, 90, 83,148 people have been administered two doses of Covid – 19 vaccination and 39, 04,927 were given a single dose of Covid – 19 vaccinations, So far 11,84,608 people have been vaccinated. Officials informed that 96.7% of Covid – 19 vaccinations was completed for the age group of above 45 year and similarly 90.07% vaccinations was done in people between 18-44 years age group. For teens between 15-18 years, 24.41 lakh have been administered with a single dose of vaccine, while 12.48 lakh have received their second dose of vaccine.
