AP Employees Withdraw their Indefinite Strike

Vijayawada: The Committee of Ministers and PRC Sadhana Steering Committee members meeting on PRC came to an understanding on Saturday night, PRC Sadhana Steering Committee members announced in a joint press conference that they are withdrawing the indefinite strike decision from Sunday onwards.

The PRC Sadhana Steering Committee members removed black badges on the shirts. They thanked CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for responding positively to their demands. The Cabinet Sub-Committee held extensive discussions over two days in line with the instructions of CM YS Jagan on the aspirations of the unions. The final round of talks was held on Saturday from 4pm to 10pm.

The summary of the discussions was explained to the CM over the telephone from time to time and decisions were taken in accordance with his instructions. He approved the proposals of the Committee of Ministers after explaining them to the CM over the phone after negotiations with the unions. The Committee of Ministers and the PRC Sadhana Steering Committee members jointly held a press conference at the Velagapudi Secretariat and revealed the details, PRC report to be released soon by Special GO, 23% continuation of fitment‌ as previously announced.     HRA slabs changed as per population of the city. HRA ceiling with 10% populations is less than 5K. 12% HRA ceiling with above 50K and two lakhs population, HRA ceiling with 16% for district headquarter centres. HOD and Secretariat employees will get 24% HRA. Remaining issues will be resolved with a special GO which will be issued shortly.
