Antigua: India wins U-19 World Cup title in final against England on Saturday at Antigua. U-19 Indian cricket created history after winning U – 19 World Cup title for the record 5th time.  This is India’s record fifth Under-19 World Cup title in tournament’s history after previously winning it in 2000, 2008, 2012 and in 2018.

Mohammad Kaif (2000), Virat Kohli (2008), Unmukt Chand (2012), Prithvi Shaw (2018) and Yash Dhull (2022) the captains lifted the U-19 trophy for India. India won U – 19 World Cup – 2022 by four wickets in the final against England. England won the toss and chooses to bat first. England scored 189 for all out in 44.5 overs. England batsman James Rew scored 95 runs and bowlers showed a superb bowling performance by Raj Bawa (5/31) and Ravi Kumar (4/34) helped India bowl out England for 189.

India chased with a clinical all round performance to beat England by 195/6 on 47.4 overs in U-19 World Cup final. Shaik Rasheed (50 off 84) and Nishant Sindhu smashed fifties and Raj Bawa (35 off 54) also played a vital knock and helped India chase the target in 47.4 overs.

England: 189/10 in 44.5 overs, James Rew 95 runs, Raj Bawa (5/31) and Ravi Kumar (4/34)

India: 195/6 in 47.4 overs, Shaik Rasheed 50, Nishant Sindhu 50 and Raj Bawa 35
