Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy instructed the officials to conduct test early, trace early and treat early. He directed Medical & Health officials be cautious on rising Covid – 19 cases in the State and take necessary precautionary measures.

He convened a high level review meeting with Medical & Health officials on Monday over increasing Omicron variant and Covid – 19 cases in the State. He instructed the officials to get ready for booster dose after Center announcement.

CM Jagan asked the officials to prepare the beds not only in the Government hospitals but also to prepare beds in private hospitals. Officials informed the CM that a total of six Omicron cases were reported in the state. He also asked the officials to fasten the vaccination drive. Jagan directed the officials to conduct house hold surveys on Covid – 19 and instructed to give vaccines to those who are not vaccinated at their door steps.
