Vijay Sai Reddy suggested setup a committee on MSP

New Delhi: YSRCP Parliamentary party leader Vijay Sai Reddy said that he urged the Central Government to setup a committee on MSP. He also urged the Central Government to grant Rs. 1000 crore for flood affected areas in AP.

He along with other YSRCP MPs he participated in an all party meeting which held ahead of Parliament’s Winter Session on Sunday in Parliament. 36 political parties attended this meeting. After the all party meeting, speaking to the media persons he mentioned about CM Jagan’s letter to the Central Government in all party meeting. He noted the resource gap funding that was required following the breakup of AP, as well as the CAG report that requested the Central Government deliver Rs. 22,948 crore in outstanding funds to AP.

He also noted the RINL (Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited) strategic disinvestment, which is profitable. He stated that during the Parliamentary meeting, they requested that RINL not be made private. Congress MP Mallikarjun Kharge also demanded to make a bill on MSP and solve the farmers’ problems that are agitating since a year on the outskirts of New Delhi. Other political parties TMC, Shiv Sena, DMK, NCP, TRS and others also demanded on MSP.
