Hyderabad: YouTube announced on Sunday that it will block some Russian channels from monetizing their videos and impose other restrictions. Google spokesperson said that they are taking a few actions in view of circumstances in Ukraine.

He added that they have started pausing the monetizing the Russian YouTube channels including RT (Russian Today) amid war between Russia and Ukraine. Facebook also stated that it will ban the Russian state media from running ads and monetization.
