YS Jagan will launch 13 new districts virtually at 9.05 am today

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is formerly going to launch 13 new districts virtually in the State on Monday in between 9.05 am to 9.45 am. He carved new districts from the existing 13 districts of AP, according to his pre poll promise of making a Parliament segment into a district.

AP Government increased 21 revenue divisions during the carving of new districts adding to the existing 51 revenue divisions. On the request of the opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu Kuppam upgraded into a revenue division.  Earlier, Kuppam is a mandal headquarter only.

AP Government issued final notification on Saturday night, carving the 13 new districts and its heads i.e. Collectors, Joint Collectors and SPs. The new districts and their headquarters are  NTR (Vijayawada), Sri Satyasai (Puttaparthi), Annamayya (Rayachoty), Tirupati, Anakapalli (Anakapalli), Kakinada (Kakinada), Konaseema (Amalapuram), Eluru (Eluru), Bapatla (Bapatla), Palnadu (Narasaraopeta), Nandyal (Nandyal), Manyam (Parvathipuram), Paderu.

From today onwards the new districts will function as full-pledged districts. The carving of new districts creates a history in AP politics.
