YS Jagan’s 2.0 cabinet 25 Ministers took oath

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Governor Bhiswabushan Harichandan administered the oath of AP Cabinet reshuffle on Monday, with 25 Ministers at a special venue in Secretariat at Velagapudi.

AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy attended the sworn-in ceremony. Governor Bhiswabushan Harichandan administered the oath with 11 old Ministers and 14 new Ministers. In the new Cabinet, Jagan allotted six Ministerial posts to the region. The number of districts in the region has gone up to six in re-organization. Four districts have got representation in the Cabinet, while Visakhapatnam and Alluri Sitarama Raju districts failed to find a place.

AP CM YS Jagan also inducted five Deputy CMs in the cabinet 2.0; they are Amzad Basha, Narayana Swamy, Budi Mutyala Naidu, T Vanitha and another one. He also allotted the Ministry portfolios to the newly inducted Ministers.

CM YS Jagan allotted Revenue portfolio to Dharmana Prasada Rao, which was handled by his brother Dharmana Krishna Das in 1.0 cabinet. Municipalities and Urban Development Minister Botsa Satyanarayana 1.0 cabinet was now allotted Education Ministry. Another senior Minister Peddi Reddy Rama Chandra Reddy was allotted Energy, Science and Technology, Electricity, Environment, Forest and Mines Ministry. T Vanitha succeeds Home Ministry. Buggana Rajendranath retained his portfolio Finance, Rehabilitation and Legislature Affairs.

Nagari MLA RK Roja allotted Tourism, Culture and Youth Affairs. V Rajani allotted Medical and Health portfolio. S Appala Raju bagged his portfolio Animal Husbandry.
