New Delhi: Union government appointed Ajit Dhoval as National Security Advisor on Monday. Union government accorded him cabinet minister status. Union government appointed Ajit Dhoval as NSA, consequently seconds term also.

          NDA government appointed him as NSA on May 30^th 2014 and the term was ended on May 30^th 2019. The government again appointed him continuing with May 31^st 2019 to another five years.

         He is a IPS officer of 1968 batch and retired as Intelligence Bureau Chief.
