YS Jagan Take Oath as CM of Andhra Pradesh
Amaravathi: YSRCP Supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy sworn – in as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday at 12:23pm in Indira Gandhi municipal stadium in Vijayawada. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as a Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
He is the Second Chief Minister to AP state, after the bi-furcation. Telangana Chief Mnister K Chandra Sekhar Rao, ADMK Chief M Stalin attended the Sworn-in ceremony. After swearing the oath YS Jagan Mohan Reddy signed his first signature on the file of Pension enhancement of Rs. 3,000/- for senior citizens.
Speaking on this occasion in his speech Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the enhancement of pension Rs. 1,000/- will be implementing from the month of June itself. Now the senior citizens are getting Rs. 2,000/-, from June onwards the enhancement of Rs. 1,000/- is for five years i.e., every year Rs. 250/- will be added up to five years. Now this June month the senior citizens will get Rs. 2,250/- explained the new Chief Minister.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam monitored the ceremony. Telangana Chief Minister KCR, ADMK Chief Stalin conveyed their wishes to YS Jagan on the occasion of sworn-in ceremony of CM. KCR wishes Jagan Mohan Reddy, he will be continued his administration three to four terms as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and he will keep up above his father’s YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s name.
After the completion of Sworn-in ceremony, Lady Governor Vimala Narasimhan conveyed wishes and gave a bouquet to YS Bharathi, wife of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
