YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured for the compensation of Rs. 1 crore for the deceased families
Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured for the compensation of Rs. 1 crore for the deceased families who were died in the blast of the Pharma Company.
If the Government is delayed and not ready to pay the compensation he will sit in Dharna for the victims’ sake. The YSRCP leaders will be in touch with the victims’ kith and kin for any assistance.
YS Jagan reached Usha Prime Hospital on Friday at 11 am and he visited 19 victims who are getting treatment in three floors. He interacted with the victims in ICU and in another two floors and consoled them. He assured them they will recover very soon and reach their houses.
He will fight for the compensation to the victims and for the deceased persons. If the Government did not come forward to pay the compensation of Rs. 1 crore, YSRCP will stage protests in favour of them. If needed he will participate in dharna to get the compensation for the victims.
The fire occurred at Escientia Advanced Sciences Private Limited in Atchutapuram SEZ of Anakapalle district on Wednesday at about 1.45 pm in the third floor of the building. The major accident, which claimed 17 lives on Wednesday, has left families in deep sorrow as they gathered at King George Hospital (KGH) in Visakhapatnam to receive the bodies of their loved ones on Thursday.
The tragic incident at Escientia Pharma in Atchutapuram SEZ of Anakapalle district claimed the lives of four individuals from the former East Godavari district. The deceased were Challapalli Harika (22), a chemical engineer from Kakinada who joined as a trainee in September 2023; Kopparti Ganesh Kumar (30) from Bikkavolu, and Marisetti Satish (31) from G Mamidikuduru, both senior production executives; and Samalkot resident Mondi Nagababu (56), an Assistant Manager. Ganesh, Satish, and Nagababu, all married, leave behind families. Harika, unmarried, was the primary breadwinner for her family.
