YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP V. Vijayasai Reddy resigned for MP post

New Delhi: YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP V. Vijayasai Reddy submitted his resignation to Vice – President Jagdeep Dhankar on Saturday. Vice – President Jagdeep Dhankar accepted Vijayasai’s resignation.

Vijayasai Reddy is the YSRCPs Parliamentary Leader in New Delhi and he is the party General Secretary. Though he is having 3 ½ year tenure as Rajya Sabha member he resigned for the post citing personal reasons.

Before submitting his resignation he told the issue to the YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

After submitting his resignation, speaking to the reporters at New Delhi he said that he served as Rajya Sabha member for 9 years. He thanked to the YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for giving opportunity as a Rajya Sabha member twice.

He also thanked Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their affection and co-operation. The changing circumstances in the political field, he decided to resign for the post. He is unable to work the people of Andhra Pradesh and helpless, he said.

Answering to the media persons questions he believed in God and he said truth always. He is giving the passage to other persons who are capable to save the interests of the State and its welfare in Parliament.

He clarified to the media persons that his party is having only 11 MLAs in the AP Assembly, it is not afford any person to nominate for Rajya Sabha. His resignation gave a pavement to the other parties BJP and its alliances, he added.

I am not afraid of the cases which are booked against him in AP. This is not a reason for my resignation as an MP.
