Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that State-of-the-Art Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) is brainchild of DGP Mahender Reddy. After inaugurating the ICCC on Thursday, CM KCR in his address said that the construction of ICCC delayed by two years because of the pandemic.
Showered praises on the Police Department, KCR saluted cops who were responsible for setting up Greyhounds, SIB and counter intelligence wings for maintaining law and order in the state.
KCR recollected as to how to pull out the APSRTC from losses with the support of the then IPS officer V. Appa Rao, who served as RTC MD, when he was Transport Minister. KCR requested the DGP to invite former DGPs of combined Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states to invite them to lunch at ICCC and seek their advices in improvement of policing.
Ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and other officials were present.
