
Actress Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a CISF constable
New Delhi: Newly elected BJP MP, actress Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a CISF constable at Chandigarh airport on Thursday. The CISF Constable Kulwinder Kaur allegedly slapped Kangana Ranaut over disrespecting farmers in 2020.
She won the Lok Sabha election from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. When she was about to board a flight for Delhi this incident happened. The CISFconstable who allegedly slapped the new MP has been identified as Kulwinder Kaur.
The CISF Constable has been suspended, and a FIR has been lodged against her. After slapping actress the CISF Constable allegedly said that Ranaut disrespected farmers, who were agitating in a 15 month long protest by farmers against the now scrapped farm laws and other issues including a legal guarantee of MSP in 2020-21. The CISF Constable said she was angry on Ranaut because she insulted the farmers who agitating were participated by taking Rs. 100/- day. She also said that her mother participated in the agitation voluntarily. Kangana words against farmers hurt me that’s why I slapped her.
According to the sources, CISF Commandant investigating on the incident, and is questioning the constable. Kangana Ranaut in her twitter account said that she is safe, but is concerned about rising terrorism in Punjab.
I am safe. I am perfectly fine. The incident happened at the security check-in. The woman guard waited for me to cross. She then came from the side and hit me. She started throwing expletives. I asked why she hit me. She said ‘I support farmers’. I am safe, but my concern is terrorism is rising in Punjab. How do we handle that? She said.
