Kolkata: TMC Supremo Mamatha Banerjee will swear – in as Chief Minister of Bengal for the third consecutive time on May 5th. The State Governor Jagdeep Dhankar will administer the oath ceremony with Mamatha Banerjee as per the Covid – 19 protocols.
The newly elected TMC MLAs elected Mamatha Banerjee as their Legislature Party leader on Monday in a meeting. Later, the TMC leaders conveyed the same to the Governor to invite Mamatha Banerjee for sworn – in ceremony.
Mamatha Banerjee’s TMC has won 213 seats in the Assembly elections – 2021, but she has to be elect to the Assembly within six months. She lost her seat in Nandigram with a slight leading to her arch – rival Suvendu Adhikari.
