Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police arrested four accused who raped and murdered veterinary doctor Priyanka Reddy on Friday. The accused Arif, Shiva, Naveen and Chennakeshavulu were arrested on charges of gang rape, murder and tampering with evidence.

  The accused Mohammed alias Arif (26) a lorry driver of Jakkulare village, J. Shiva (20) cleaner, J. Naveen (20) driver and Ch. Chennakeshavulu (20) cleaner of Gudigandla village.

  As per the Cyberabad CP V.C. Sajjanar speaking to the media persons said that on Wednesday evening at around 6.30 pm these accuses saw Priyanka parking her bike near toll plaza. The movement they saw, they hatched a plan to sexually assault her. They talked about it and Shiva deflated her bike tire. She arrived at Thondupally plaza at 9.30 pm. The accuses were waiting for her Arif approached her for offering her help with tyre and at around 9.28 pm told Shiva to fix it. Shiva took her bike twice for repairing puncture but came in vain, there is no shop opened for repair. After Priyanka speak with her sister over phone she was scared near toll plaza, then Arif dragged her to the compound wall, Naveen and Chennakeshavulu assisted him.   

  While raping the women, they smothered her by blocking her nose, said CP. She died within minutes, he added. At around 9.45 pm they switched of her mobile phone and by 10.20 pm they had killed her and loaded her body in the lorry cabin. Shiva and Naveen took the women’s bike and Arif and Chennakeshavulu got in the lorry, following the bike. At around 10.28 pm both vehicles left the spot and went towards Shadnagar. They moved slowly to find a place to dispose the body. In the midway at 1.00 am they stopped at a petrol pump and tried to buy petrol but were denied. The accused went ahead and bought petrol at another petrol pump, CP said. At around 2.30 am the accused brunt the body under the culvert at Chantanpally and then abandoned the bike after removing its number plate at Kothur village.
