India bagged 38 medals on 7th day at SAG: Sakshi clinched Gold

Kathmandu: Indian Athletes continuing their domination in the South Asian Games here on Sunday. The Indian Athletes bagged 38 medals on Sunday including 22 Gold, 10 Silver and 6 Bronze on the seventh day of the games.

   The swimmers picked 7 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze on Sunday, while the Wrestlers clinched all the 4 Gold medals. India’s total medal count stood at 252 (132 Gold, 79 Silver and 41 Bronze), leaving behind hosts Nepal and Sri Lanka. Sakshi was unstoppable on her way to the top podium finish in the 62 Kg category, and 23 World Championships Silver medalist, Ravinder clinched Gold in the Men’s free style 61 Kg. Pawan Kumar Men’s free style 86 Kg and Anshu Women’s 59 Kg also won a Gold in their respective category.
