Hyderabad: Veteran Cine actress, women cine director Smt. Vijaya Nirmla (75), passes away on Thursday at continental hospital in Gachibowli. She was admitted in a hospital for her health problems and she was last her breath at cardiac arrest. She entered in the film industry at her childhood. She was performed little Krishna character in NAT films Paanduranga Mahatyam telugu film.

       Later she became as an actress in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam also. She married veteran Telugu hero Ghattamaneni Krishna in 1954. She was survived with son Naresh film actor and Krishna’s family members Mahesh Babu, Manjula and Ramesh Babu.

       Vijay Nirmala’s mortal was brought at her residence in Nanakramguda at 11:00am. Her body kept for the last visit of her fans and other cine industry people, her last rights will take place on 28^th June 2019.

       She was directed her first film Meena in 1973 and later she was directed nearly 50 films. It is a history in the Telugu film industry, a lady director was directed so many films. She performed her best films in “Pandanti Kaapuram, Mosaagalla ki Mosaagadu, Paadi Pantalu, Sakshi, Bommalu Chepina Katha, Akka Chellelu etc.,”
