
Anshula Kanth is the MD and CFO of World Bank
Washington: State Bank of India Managing Director Anshula Kanth has been appointed as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of the World Bank. World Bank President David Malpass announced her appointment on Friday. She will be responsible for financial and risk management of World Bank group reporting to the president.
She is a graduate in Economic Honors from Lady Sree Ram College for Women in New Delhi, and a post graduate in Economics from Delhi School of Economics. As a CFO of SBI she managed $ 38 billion of revenue and total assets of $ 500 billion. She greatly improved the capital base and focused on the long term sustainability of SBI within her mandate.
She has been as MD and Member of the Board since September 2018, said World Bank.
