“Nava Ratnas” are more priority in AP budget: AP Finance Minister Bugganna

Amaravathi: Andhra Pradesh Government gave priority to “Nava Ratnas” in the 2019 budget. The state Government provided priority for agriculture, education, medical and health & welfare schemes and infrastructure sectors in the budget.

    The Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Bugganna presented 2019-20 budget in the assembly at 12.30 pm on Friday with an outlay of Rs. 2, 27,974.99 crores.

   The state budget is presented in the assembly is indicating to fulfill 80% of the poll promises of YSRCP. The state Government name all welfare schemes in the name of YSR and CM Jagan’s name was tagged to “Amma Vadi” and “Vidya Deevana” schemes.  

  The Finance Minister allocated for the welfare of the farmers Rs. 21, 161.55 crores and also provided for investment assistant to the farmers Rs. 8750 crores. He allotted all types of pensions Rs. 15, 726.39 crores. The senior citizens and widows pensions Rs. 12, 207.04 crores including in this pensions.

   Finance Minister allotted for education sector Rs. 32, 618 crores for all related educational schemes.

   The AP Finance Minister proposed the budget of 2019-20 as follows:

  • The budget total outlay is Rs. 2, 27, 974.99 crore. The income sources are i.e., revenue income Rs. 1, 78, 697.41 crores.
  • Share on central taxes Rs. 34, 833.18 crores and Central Government grants Rs. 60, 075.51 crores.

Expenditure: Revenue expenditure Rs. 1, 80, 875.93 crores. Capital expenditure Rs. 32, 293.39 crores. Revenue deficit Rs. 1, 778.52 crores. Fiscal deficit Rs. 35, 260.58 crores.
