I have a suggestion for countries like the UK that have refused to participate in actions that harm Iran. You have two options. One, buy the oil we have in abundance. Two, have some courage and go to the Strait of Hormuz and get the oil you need yourself, Trump said in his Truth post.

He also advised allies to learn to fight for themselves. America will not come to your aid. Just as you are far away when we need you, we will be far away. We have already hurt Iran. The hard work is done. Now go and get your own oil, he clarified.

A month after the US and Israeli attacks began, Iran still maintains its grip on the Strait of Hormuz. A fifth of the world’s oil transport passes through this strait. The blockade of Iran has caused a sharp increase in international oil prices. This has shaken global stock markets and caused a rise in the prices of many essential commodities.
