Chennai: Udhayanidhi Stalin, DMK Youth Wing Secretary has filed his nomination on Thursday from Chepauk Thiruvallikeni constituency. He is the sitting MLA of this constituency.

In his affidavit declared his family’s total assets are worth Rs 33 crore. He declared the value of his personal movable assets to be Rs 12.92 crore and the value of his immovable assets to be Rs 7.72 crore. His wife Kritiga Udhayanidhi has movable assets worth Rs 13.25 crore in the nomination papers.

He disclosed that she does not have any immovable assets in her name. He stated that he or his family members do not have any loans or dues with financial institutions. He said that he has Rs 50,000 in cash and his wife has Rs 75,000. He said that his total movable assets in the form of savings accounts, fixed deposits, bonds, shares and vehicles are worth Rs 12.92 crore.

He said that he has a Defender car worth Rs 1 crore and an Innova car worth Rs 33 lakh. He said that he does not have any gold or silver. He said that his wife has 1,800 grams of gold, which is worth more than Rs 1.87 crore. Udhayanidhi Stalin declared his annual income as Rs 10,40,620 and his wife’s annual income as Rs 2,92,54,570 for the financial year 2024-25.

He stated that his salary as an MLA and remuneration from the film industry are his main sources of income. He said that he has about 11 acres of agricultural land in Ulundai village in Tiruvallur district. A 2,400 square feet plot in Dr. Seethapathi Nagar in Velachery, Indra Garden in Rayapettai and residences in Rajesh Nagar in Pallikaranai. He stated that he had given a loan of Rs 1.55 lakh to both of them. He stated that 10 criminal cases are pending against him. He said that cases have been reported in several States including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Maharashtra.
