Sonia demands Amit Shah’s resignation

New Delhi: The Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi demanded the resignation of the Home Minister Amit Shah on the responsibility of not controlling the pro and anti-CAA clashes in the North East Delhi.

The Congress discussed the clashes in North East Delhi resulted in 27 died and more than 200 injured, vehicles vandalized, set fire on shops and houses etc, in the CWC meeting. After the meeting Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi speaking to the media persons said that it is the failure of the police. The Union Home Minister is responsible to the arsons and riots. She demanded the resignation of the Home Minister. She asked six questions to the Home Minister.

Congress chief Sonia Gandhi hit out at the centre, saying the violence was the result of a conspiracy while demanding Home Minister Amit Shah’s resignation. “What was the Home Minister doing since last week? What was the Home Minister doing earlier this week? Why were the paramilitary forces not called in earlier when the Home Ministry saw the situation worsening,” she said.
