Modi said that the passes of key bills pertaining to J & K and ladak is a fitting tribute to Sardar Patel, who worked for India’s unity, to B R Ambedkar whose views are well-known, and Dr. SP Mookerjee whose devoted his life for India’s unity and integrity.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the passage of bills on J & K in Parliament as a “Momentous Occasion”. He also said in parliamentary democracy a new dawn awakes the people there as they are now free from the “Shackles of Vested Interest Groups”.

        Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the people in his twitter that “Together we are, Together we shall rise and together we will fulfill the dreams of 130 crore Indian’s. A Momentous Occasion in our parliamentary democracy, where landmarks bills pertaining to J & K have been passed with overwhelming support”. After the bills passed in Lok Sabha Modi twitted in a series of twits.

        Modi in his speech said that for years, vested interest groups who believed in emotional blackmail, never care for people’s empowerment. J & K is now free from their shackles. A new dawn, better tomorrow awakes, said Prime Minister. Saluting sisters and brothers of J & K and ladak for their courage and resilience, he said. He also said the bills will ensure integration and empowerment of these regions.
