
Flights ban extended till April 14th
New Delhi: The Union Government extended the ban of International flights till April 14. The Union government announced on Thursday amid a complete national lockdown to fight Covid- 19.
According to the Civil Aviation Ministry, a weeklong ban imposed last week has been extended, the ban will not apply to cargo flights or those specially permitted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Domestic flights have been banned till March 31.
Worldwide, the Covid- 19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the aviation industry due to the stringent border controls by countries and a travel ban on foreigners to contain the virus.
