Mumbai: The CBI team arrested the absconding DHFL promoter Kapil Wadhawan and his brother Dheeraj Wadhawan alias Baba Dewan on Sunday. They were involved in a fraud case with Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor.

The move came after the Special CBI Court vacated the stay on their arrest on Sunday, they were arrested at Mahabaleswar. Last week, the institutional quarantine of the Wadhawans and the staff, who had been travelling from Khandala to Mahabaleswar in violation of the lock down, ended. They were shifted from Panchagni on Thursday and placed in 14 day home quarantine at their farm house in Mahabaleswar.
