
ED Attaches Yes Bank Founder Rana Kapoor’s Assets worth Rs. 2203 Cr
Mumbai: The enforcement directorate has provisionally attached the assets worth of Rs. 2, 203 crores of Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor. Along with Rana Kapoor the ED includes the assets of his family members and the promoters of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd group, brothers Kapil and Dheeraj Wadhawan in a money-laundering case linked to defrauding the bank.
The present marked value of these assets is morethan Rs. 2, 800 crores. The attached properties of Kapoor and related entities are valued at Rs. 792 crores, the current market values Rs. 1, 400 crores. The assets include a residential building Khursidabad at Chambala Hills, three duplex flats at Nepean Sea Road a residential flat near NCPA, eight flats in India Bulls Blue, Worli and bungalow at 40 Amrita Shergill Marg in Delhi, which is worth around Rs. 685 crore stated ED in a press release.
The attached assets belonging to the Wadhawans and their relative entities are worth Rs. 1411.9 Cr. These assets includes 12 flats in Khar (W), one flat in New York, two flats in London, two plots in Pune and Mulshi, one commercial property in Australia, five luxury vehicles and 344 bank accounts.
