
New Governor’s for Five States: Telangana Governor Tamila Sai
New Delhi: President Ramnath Kovind appointed five governors to five states on Sunday.
Ramnath Kovind appointed Smt. Tamila Sai Soundar Raajan as new Governor of Telangana. She is the first lady Governor to the state of Telangana, after bi-furcated the state in 2013. The Telangana Governor Narsimhan was appointed as a Governor to the composite state of Andhra Pradesh.
The New Telangana Governor is a native of Tamil Nadu state and also she is working as the state BJP President. She worked to strengthen the party in the state. She was contested four times in the direct elections but she would not elected. She lost her election in 2019 against the DMK leader Kanimozhi. Tamila Sai belongs to Naagarkoli village in Kanya Kumari district and she became a doctor from Madras Medical College Chennai.

Veteran Telangana BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya appointed as a Governor of Himachal Pradesh. He was a member of RSS, became BJP activists in 1980. He was a key leader in Hyderabad in BJP and he became union minister in Vajpayee cabinet and Modi-1 cabinet.

Former Union Minister Arif Mohammed Khan was appointed as the Governor of Kerala.

Bagat Singh Koshyari appointed as the Governor of Maharashtra.

Himachal Pradesh Governor Kalraj Mishra appointed as Governor of Rajasthan.
