New Delhi: BJP veteran leader and Former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani said “A dream close to his heart was being fulfilled and it was a historic day for all Indians”. Advani has welcomed the foundation ceremony a Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Wednesday, though he is unable to attend the ceremony. L K Advani, a key architect of the Ram Janma Bhoomi moment, who led a Ratha Yatra from Somnath to Ayodhya in 1990 for construction of Ram Mandir.

Advani in a statement said that “Sometimes significant dreams in once life take a long time to fruition, but when they are finally realized, the wait becomes very worthwhile”. I feel humbled that during the Ram Janma Bhoomi moment, destinity made me performed a pivotal in the form of the Ram Ratha Yatra. From Somnath to Ayodhya in 1990, which helped galvanized the aspirations, energies and passions of its countries participants.

On these auspicious occasions, I want to express my gratitude to the scores of saints, leaders and people from India and the world over who made a valuable contribution and scarifies in the Ram Janma Bhoomi Moment. Hoping the temple will stand for “Good Governance” and harmony, said Advani. I am also very happy that due to the decisive verdict of the Supreme Court in November 2019, the construction of Sree Ram Mandir is getting started in an environment of tranquility.

This will go a long way in strengthening the bond between Indians. Sree Ram occupies as esteemed place in India’s Cultural and Civilizational, heritage and is an emboardment of grace, dignity and decorum. It is my belief that this temple will inspire all Indians to imbibe his virtues.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is laying the foundation for construction of Sree Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the birth place of Sree Ram. It is indeed a historical and emotional day not only for me but for all Indians, said Advani.
