Bhopal: A Ganesh immersion in a lake, turned as a tragic incident in the vee hours of Friday by drowning 11 youth in the age of 15 to 25.

   As per the eye witness the youths took their seven feet long Ganesh idol to immersion in the lake “Choti Jeel” around 4.40 am. 17 youth were engaged the boat on hire to immerse the idol of Ganesh. The boat titled to one side and the capsized in the lake. Some of the youth jumped off the boat when it turned upside down and swam to safety. But some others who lacked swimming skills drown in the lake.

    The youths who are drowning in the lake were screaming for help before drowning. But the boat driver escaped safely in the tragedy incident.
