Keep Villages With Sanitation and Greenary: KCR

Hyderabad: Changing the shape of villages through “Clean and Green” projects in every village within six months, said Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandra Sekhar Rao.

         He associated with the newly elected ZP Chair Person, Vice Chair Person at Pragathi Bhavan on Tuesday. Interacting with the newly elected ZP Chair Person and Vice Chair Person, he said that now the villages are suffering with basic needs.

        A lack of responsibility of the public representatives in Panchayat Raj the villages are turned into dump yards. Many villages are facing drinking water scarcity, in his speech he advised the newly elected Panchayat Raj representatives keep concentration on sanitation and clean and green in every village.

       The public representatives should respect the public, who approached them for their problems, he said. If we received the public courteously they will satisfy our works and they will give more opportunities for your growth in politics, he added.

     Now the new PR act is very rigid, the Panchayat Secretaries services will regularize on the basis of their performance. The govt. Will calculate the secretaries services of three years for their regularization, he said.

       He directed the newly elected ZP Chair Persons and Vice Chair Persons to avail the services of Panchayat Secretaries, DPOs, DLPOs, EORDs and MPDOs for the development of villages. He also suggested that the govt is going to conduct training classes of one week to the ZP Chair Persons and Vice Chair Persons on rural development in NIRD in the month of July.

        He had lunch with the newly elected ZP Chair Persons and Vive Chair Persons at Pragathi Bhavan. Ministers Mahamood Ali, A. Indra Karan Reddy, A. Eshwar, S. Niranjan Reddy, V. Prashant Reddy, Malla Reddy, Srinivas Goud, Jagadish Reddy and party leaders, MLAs attended.
