
Mamata Banerjee discharged from hospital in wheel chair
Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee discharged from SSKM Hospital on Friday evening on wheel chair. After the 48 observation of the doctors, her health was recovered and she was discharged from the hospital.
She said that she will participate in the election campaign after two or three days in Nandigram constituency where she was contesting for the Assembly. She decided to campaign on wheel chair on behalf of the TMC candidates throughout the state. The hospital authorities in a statement said that “Mamatha Banerjee has responded to treatment.
The plaster cast was opened today and injury examined. The hematoma (blood suffusion) has diminished considerably. Ankle injury has shown much sign of improvement,” they added. The Chief Minister has been asked to come back to hospital after a week for a check-up.
On Wednesday, after filing her election papers for Nandigram, she was at a market greeting people while standing on the footboard of her car when the crowd pressed against her door, which crushed her leg and hips, causing her injuries
