Modi Launched a Video on Mahatma Gandhi
New Delhi: Prime Minister launched a Mahatma Gandhi video on Saturday at his residence. The film maker Rajkumar Hirani and eight leaders actors brought together for 100 seconds video on “Mahatma Gandhi” on the eve of his 150th Birth anniversary.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday interacted with Bollywood actors and filmmakers, including Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, to discuss initiatives to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. A cultural video based on Gandhi’s life, teachings and values featuring eight leading actors was also shown during the interaction at PM Modi’s official residence. After launching the video, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that, “Spreading the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi through cinema, ensuring more youngsters are well-acquainted with the ideals of Gandhi Ji. Our films, music and dance have become very good ways of connecting people as well as societies, said Modi. He also said that, “Our film and entertainment industry is diverse and vibrant. Its impact internationally is also immense.
