Modi celebrates Diwali with the Indian Army in Rajouri in J & K
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Diwali festival with the soldiers of the Indian Army in Rajouri of Jammu & Kashmir on Sunday. The PM visit Coincide with Infantry Day celebrations, which is observed to mark the landing of first Indian troops in Jammu & Kashmir in 1947 to push back Pakistan supported intruders.
PM Modi directly flew to Army Brigade Quarters in the border district to interact with the troops deployed along the LOC.
Narendra Modi visited Jammu & Kashmir first time after the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir, this is the third time that Modi celebrates Diwali with the troops in Jammu & Kashmir in the border state since 2014.
