Vijayawada: The AP High Court granted bail to Macherla MLA Pinelli Ramakrishna Reddy on Tuesday. The Macherla police filed three cases against P. Ramakrishna Reddy on May 23^rd night in connection with the post poll violence in the constituency.

The police filed intentionally three cases against the Macherla MLA to arrest him and not to participate in the election counting. The police informed the Court that they filed cases on May 22^nd on Marcherla MLA, but the police filed cases against him after he obtained bail on May 23^rd from the High Court.

The police colluded with some political parties fraudulently registered cases against Marcherla MLA. After verifying the case records the Court found that the police told lies to the Court.
