A.P Government committed for transparent, non-corrupt: Governor

Government is committed for SC, ST, BC and Minority welfare and for the
non-corrupt Government in the state, said A.P Governor E.S.L. Narashiman. He
participated in the joint session of A.P Assembly, on the first Assembly
sessions of 15th A.P
Assembly on Friday.
In his address in the joint session of A.P Assembly and Council, his Government will going to implement the developmental and welfare schemes under the “Navaratnas”. He also said that A.P Government is confined for the ST, SC, BC and Minority welfare and transparent and non-corrupt Governance in the state. He conveyed best wishes to the newly elected members. A.P Government will give priority for the agriculture sector under the scheme of “Rajanna Bharosa”, which was formulated under “Navaratnas”. Under this scheme the Government will provide financial assistance Rs. 12, 500 for acre to the each farmer. And also provide assistance to the tenant farmers also. His Government will provide MSP, free bore wells to the farmers and other benefits to the farmers.
A.P Government will confine to complete all irrigation projects within the stipulated period under the scheme of “Jala Yagnam”. Polavaram project also will complete in the stipulated time. A.P Government is going to implement revolutionary changes in the irrigation tender process. The tenders will be finalized under the supervision Judicial Committee headed by a Sitting High Court Judge. To reduce the excess tenders the Government is going for reverse tendering system, Governor. The previous Governments committed faults in tenders, which caused the loss to the Government exchequers. A.P Government also going to implement pensions to the SC, ST, BC, Minority, senior citizens and physically handicapped without the caste, creed and political affiliations, said Governor. The A.P Government also assured for the welfare of Government employees by providing 27% IR and for the abolition CPS. A.P Government accorded general consent to the central investigating agencies CBI, IT and ED etc, he said. After Governor’s speech the A.P Assembly adjourned for Monday.
