
Bandi Sanjay appointed as BJP Telangana President
Hyderabad: BJP appointed Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay as the Party Chief of Telangana on Wednesday. BJP National President issued official order announcing that Sanjay will take charge as State President of Telangana for BJP with immediate effect.
He was a volunteer of the RSS. He has been working as an affiliate of the party since his college days, he worked in the ABVP. He served first as Convenor of RSS student wing of ABVP in Karimnagar town and later on the Vice-President. He was twice elected as the Director of Karimnagar Co-op. Urban Bank. He also served as National Secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha. He was made in-charge of the Delhi Assembly election campaign, besides having also served as in-charge of Tamil Nadu and Kerala during the Assembly elections.
He was in-charge of chariot trip undertaken by senior BJP leader L.K. Advani. He worked as Karimnagar BJP City President twice consecutively and also elected twice as a Corporator in Karimnagar Municipal Corporation. He was defeated two times in 2014 and 2019 in the Assembly elections.
