Covid- 19 cases outbreak reaches to 433: first death case registered in Kolkata
Kolkata: The Covid- 19 outbreak reaches to 433 in India on Monday. The first Covid- 19 death registered in Kolkata on Monday in a private hospital, the man (57) who has no foreign history.
The Covid- 19 registered cases seven in West Bengal. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamatha Benerjee wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday to stop all the flight services to Kolkata. She also declared lock down in all urban cities. The first patient detected in Bengal was a student who returned from UK. The young man was out and about and even visited a mall before he tested positive for the virus.
She also converted an indoor stadium in Kolkata to a makeshift hospital as part of preparations for Covid- 19.
