“Deepavali” Celebrates With Laxmi Pooja

According to the Hindu Mythology “Deepavali or Diwali” is a significant to the victory of good over evil. And it also teaches the people a lesson be good on others and be helpful.

Don’t harass the people who are in the situation of helpless. A old tale of Hindu Mythology is popular to celebrate the Diwali. In “Dwapara Yug”, a demon named “Narakasura” is harassing the good people, saints and the women.

Then the ruler of “Dwaraka” Sri Krishna decided to save the people of “Dwaraka” from the cluthes of demon “Narakasura.” Krishna declared a war on “Narakasura” and reached the battle ground with his Wife “Satya Bhama”.

“Satya Bhama” is called the incarnation of “Bhoo Devi” (The Mother Earth). In the previous ages “Narakasura” is the son of “Bhoo Devi”. He had a boon that he will die in the hands of his mother, when his crimes are riped. Now Krishna went the battle field along with his wife “Satya Bhama” Alias “Bhoo Devi” and did a fierce fight with “Narakasura”.

When Krishna fallen unconscious in the battle with “Narakasura”, then “Satya Bhama” took the battle with “Narakasura” and killed him. As per the tale of Hindu Mythology people are celebrating the killing day of “Narakasura” as “Deepavali”.

The day fall on the month of “Ashwayuja”Bahula Chaturdashi. It is a dark night. People celebrate the death day of “Narakasura” by lightning Diyas and firing crackers, etc., for their joy.

People also perform Laxmi Pooja on the day of “Deepavali” with a prayer of Health and Wealth and all good happenings to them and their families.
