ED registered insiders trading in the capital of Amaravathi
Vijayawada: The land purchases scam of “Insiders Trading” in AP capital Amaravathi by the then Telugu Desam Government between 2014 to 2015, the CID authorities informed the Enforcement Directorate officers.
On receiving the information from the AP CID authorities, the South Zone ED officers took the insiders trading scam case and registered a case for probe under PMLA. In this land scam, the CID officers identified those nearly 797 white ration card holders, who are under the BPL category purchased the lands in Amaravathi capital core region a worth of Rs. 275 crores. These details are primarily indicating the insiders trading scam in purchasing the lands. The AP CID already issued notices to the white ration card holders and also informed the ED and income tax officers.
The ED, officers at Hyderabad registered a case against the insiders scam; the Vishakhapatnam ED officers will probe the matter soon. The AP CID registered a case against the former Ministers of AP cabinet P. Narayana and P. Pulla Rao on the complaint of a women former Bujji. The CID registered a case under sections 420 CRPC, 506 r/w 120 (B) and SC/ ST atrocities act 3 (1) (G) (P). The white ration card holders purchased 720 acres in Amaravathi, Peddakakani, Tadikonda, Tulluru, Mangalagiri and Tadepalli villages. The TDP leaders including the then Chief Minister N. Chandra Babu Naidu and his son Lokesh and other leaders purchased nearly 4070 acres in the Amaravathi area under insiders trading scam.
These facts revealed by the Cabinet Sub –Committee by its study on the Amaravathi lands and also submitted the details in the AP Assembly.
