Four IAF Planes brought 800 Indians home from Ukraine
New Delhi: Indian Government evacuated Indian students in four flights on Wednesday, who is studying in Ukraine due to Russia’s invasion. Major cities are still under Ukraine’s control and Russia has stepped up its offensive and is now bombing civilian areas too.

The C-17 aircraft took off from Romanian capital Bucharest, Hungary capital Budapest and Poland’s Rzeszow, respectively. Four IAF aircrafts brought home over 800 Indians, including students from Ukraine in the early hours on Thursday. Russian forces claimed to have taken the Black Sea city of Kherson in the south but the City’s Mayor insists that it is under Ukrainian control.

Ukraine’s second city Kharkiv continues to come under intense shelling. Russian forces have reportedly surround Mariupol, a strategic port on the Sea of Azov. Russia moots the possibility of ceasefire talks on Thursday with Ukraine, which says a delegation is on its way for the talks at an undisclosed location on the Belarus-Poland border.
