Hyderabad: Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan offered prayers to Lord Vinayaka on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi at Khairatabad on Friday. Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya also performed pujas to Ganapathi at Khairatabad.
Khairatabad Ganesh Mandapam organisers installed 40feet tall Lord Vinayaka idol infront of Khairatabad library office has been captivating the devotees. This statue is attracting the devotees very much. Besides Ganapati the organisers have installed the idols of Krishna Kali and Kala Nageshwari. Khairatabad Ganesha idol is the tallest among the other Ganesha idols in the city.
Tamilisai has conveyed Vinayaka Chavithi greetings to the people of Telangana and exhorted them to celebrate the festival following Covid –19 guidelines.
