Jagan invites Modi to AP for “Ugadi”
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to participate as a Chief Guest at a massive program of distribution of house sites to poor in AP, on the Telugu New Year’s Day “Ugadi” on March 25th.
Jagan extended his invitation to Prime Minister in their meeting on Wednesday at Modi’s residence at New Delhi. This house sites program is a part of Navaratnas welfare initiative. On the day of Ugadi festival the State Government is going to distribute twenty five lakhs house sites to the poor, he explained. He also urged the Prime Minister to direct the Ministry concerned to hand over 800 acres of salt lands in the East Godavari district which could be utilized for housing purpose by the State Government.
