Kejriwal launches a “Ten point guarantee card”: free electricity, 24 hour water supply etc.

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal promised a set of promises to the voters, which is going to poll on February 8th for the Delhi State Assembly elections 2020. He launched a “Ten point guarantee card” to voters on Sunday in a press conference and said that it is not an election manifesto of AAP, it is a promise to the voters.

In his ten point guarantee card he offers the voters free power upto 200 units, 24 hours drinking water on tap and world class education to every child. Along with it, he promised a clean environment including a clean Yamuna and housing to every slum dweller. Speaking to the reporters Kejriwal said that this is not our manifesto, this is two steps ahead of it. These are issues that affect the people of Delhi. We will launch a comprehensive manifesto in seven to ten days. Our manifesto will have more things specifically for students, teachers among others and it will be for everyone. The opposition is saying that many of our schemes will only last till March 31st 2020, so this is our guarantee that these will continue for next five years, he added.

The guarantee card also promises over 11, 000 buses and to increase the length of the Delhi Metro network over 500 Kms. In view of the spiraling pollution that turns the city into a gas chamber “Every winter, the AAP said it aims to bring down the pollution by 300 %”, he said.
