
Kejriwal’s AAP hat-trick victory in Delhi Assembly election
New Delhi: Kejriwal’s AAP clean sweeped with a vote sharing of 53.38% in Delhi Assembly elections held on February 7th, 2020. AAP retained its power in the state of Delhi consecutively for the third time.
Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Chief Aravind Kejriwal won 62 Assembly seats out of 70 in the Delhi Assembly elections. The rival BJP bagged only 08 seats in 2020 Delhi Assembly elections. Another rival party Congress loses all seats which it contested. The BJP got 40% vote sharing and Congress got only 4%. All Congress candidates lose their deposits.
Kejriwal’s promises on the education, health and conventional “Bijli, Sadak, Pani”. The Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal’s AAP returned to power for the third time with 62 seats, a loss of only five seats with it gets in 2015. The Congress party faced a pathetic situation in the elections; it failed to open its account in the election. 67 candidates of Congress party (including four allies) lost their deposit.
