
Kerala Government took a decision to provide free insurance of Rs. Five Lakhs to the Devotees of Lord Ayyappa
Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Government took a decision to provide free insurance of Rs. Five Lakhs to the Devotees of Lord Ayyappa, who are going to visit the Makara Jyothi. The Ayyappa Temple will open from November 16th to the devotees, who are attending to the Makara Vilathu on January 13th.
The Kerala CM P. Vijayan reviewed in a high level meeting on Saturday and took the decision. The Government also took responsibility to send the mortal of the Ayyappa devotees to their native places with the Government expenditure.
The Travancore Devaswom Board will bear the insurance premium of the Ayyappa devotees. This insurance scheme will be implementing from this year onwards.
