Hyderabad: A large crowd of women protesters in Hyderabad gathered at Minar Gardens near Salarjung Museum on Monday, women protesters raising slogans against CAA, NRC and NPR.

The women including school and college students, housewives and working professional of all walks of life participated in the protest. They carried the National Flag and placard with slogans of “Stop campus terrorism; don’t transform universities into detention camps. They sang a song from a patriotic song from Hindi movie ‘Karma’ “Dil Diya Hai Jan Bhi Denge”.

Nearly 15 speakers addressed the protesters with a mix of poems and slogans. A social activist Maria Tabassum said the Government’s main motive is to crush Minorities in the country. Another activist Arishia Ayub said this event is to show that we are against this act. The Government wants to kill Secularism in the country, but we are all united in this fight against the Modi’s Government.
